oh what to say about myself…

Since I can remember, I knew that I was destined to do something that was creative. Growing up, I always enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Whether that be setting the dining table for a special event or decorating our family home, I always wanted to spend my free time making my surroundings beautiful.  For this reason, I decided to polish my natural design abilities by studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. There I learned all things design related and further cemented my love for interiors and planning. After college, I worked in Residential Interior Design, where I grew tremendously not only as a designer, but as a person.

While working in Interior Design, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to help my best friend plan her wedding. Planning my friend’s wedding was one of the most magical and eye-opening experiences for me. Selecting a venue, designing unique and thoughtful centerpieces, and taking several trips to Downtown Los Angeles to pick all the important elements, was truly unforgettable. The wedding was dreamlike, and is something that people still talk about to this day! Seeing the wedding and all the small details come to fruition is when I realized that wedding design and coordination was the path that I was destined to pursue.

So, that’s why I started Liv For The Day! With the hopes to help my friends, friends of friends, and acquaintances, plan they're weddings and events! I have a passion for making all things beautiful, and my obsessiveness for perfection has become an asset to my success! I have a love for the ever-changing trends and allure that comes with each wedding/event. I love the organization, creativity, and personalization of my job! The relationships I create with each of my client’s are special and unique. This further allows me to create an experience that is personalized and meaningful.

There is truly something about making my client’s event/wedding unforgettable. It is so fulfilling and I can’t wait to keep planning more beautiful weddings to come!
